This week’s #WidgetWednesday is MinifyMusic! The Colorado-based company allows you to quickly and easily convert your old-school audio CD’s into a convenient digital library. You can do this in three ways, either by scheduling an at-home appointment, by mailing in your CD’s, or as a vendor by purchasing their MinifyMusic portable box. Minify uses their BookingBug widget to allow customers to schedule their at-home services, either Home Simple, Home Plus, or Home Deluxe. They not only provide technical expertise but also support on mastering your new digital library that is stored in the cloud. Let’s take a closer look at their booking journey.
First, their homepage features clearly a Book In-Home Service button that immediately draws the user to the proper navigation.
The home page button then brings you to a page that elaborates on their different levels of service options in an easy to read table. Below the table, there is a Book Now button for each option.
Finally, a calendar-view booking page appears for the selected service. From here, customers can choose their preferred time and date, and enter payment information for confirmation.
Minify does an excellent job of integrating their widget into their existing web page. The user-navigation is clear and organized, and they have nicely incorporated their colour scheme into the widget.
