A Glimpse Into The Store Of The Future

Another year, another Shoptalk to wow us with the latest in retail & ecommerce. Started in 2015, the Shoptalk conference immediately struck a chord with a diverse, senior-level audience. Since then, they’ve only expanded on what is undoubtedly one of most exciting conferences in retail. Here’s a snapshot of this year’s attendees that illustrates just how varied the show will be:

When we head to Las Vegas for the conference in March, we’ll be surrounded by some of the greatest minds in retail and the tech to go along with it. Fortunately, Shoptalk has made it easy to find the solutions you’re looking for. With the introduction of Discovery Zones, we’ll see a few areas like the one pictured below. As for BookingBug, we’ll be in the Store of the Future Discovery Zone, next to other innovators dedicated to modernizing retail in 2018.

Ready to get into the good stuff? Here are 5 innovators we’re thrilled to be placed beside at the Store of the Future Discovery Zone that can help retailers thrive in 2018:

Aside from having a really snazzy home-page, Curbside provides modern, powerful omnichannel solutions. From curbside pickup and click & collect, to same day delivery and online product reservations, Curbside knows what retailers need in 2018, and is working with names like CVS and Sephora to lead the way.

Starship Technologies

Its 2018. If you’re a brand that’s not looking deeply into delivery methods, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Starship provides arguably the most exciting local delivery option that’s sure to get you some attention. Future, here we come.

TruRating - Retail Customer Data

TruRating makes it easy for businesses to get up-to-the-minute feedback from their customers. By engaging at the point of purchase online or in-store, businesses get critical insights that help drive them forward. Their “you rate, we donate” social responsibility program is the cherry on top.

With more and more pressure to provide instant gratification, retailers like Tom’s are turning to FLEXE for their warehousing and fulfillment services. Regardless of your needs, FLEXE can help with “seasonal inventory swings, augmenting your distribution network, or building out a fulfillment network to expand market presence”.

Their website says it best: “retail is in need of smart solutions”. Wondersign provides a way to increase sales while using less space through their in-store kiosks. Retailers save space, customers see the entire assortment. Boom.
