When the nature of your business is to be on the move, it can often be tough to keep track of everything. With these tools, you can operate efficiently whether you’re at work, home, or on the road.

Dropbox is our favourite cloud-based file storage service that allows you to sync files to any of your devices. It also acts as a backup service, keeping your all-important documents safe and making sure you never lose a document again! Dropbox can even be used for bigger businesses, allowing staff to swap and share documents in real-time.

Expensifyis a great app that allows you to organise and keep track of all your business expenses, even when you’re on the move. You can upload and import your expenses, create and share reports, record your mileage and time for reimbursement purposes, take copies of your receipts and more. Perfect if your business requires you to move from place to place frequently.

When I Work makes scheduling your team’s work rotas a piece of cake. The app allows employers to moderate time off and manage shift trades and also allows employees to select open shifts. When I Work is a great option for employers who are often out of the office or on the go, as the app works in real-time and can even send staff SMS alerts.

Xero is a cloud-based software that takes care of all your accounting, reconciliation and invoicing needs. As well as giving its users the traditional accounting functionality, Xero also provides its users with a variety of add-on tools, including CRM, payroll management, inventory and e-commerce. Xero is also mobile-friendly, allowing you to use it on the go.
