BookingBug Board Game Night

Last week the BookingBug dream team hosted a board game night in the London office which started in a friendly style 7 player game of the cooperative Mysterium. James took the role of the restless spirit, with Ed, Phelim, Mike, Chase, Joel and Piotr taking up the challenge of interpreting the 'visions' he was sending them, and solving his murder. The game came down to a knife-edge vote in the final hour, with top mystic Joel making the correct call to lead the entire table to a well deserved joint victory.

Meanwhile, players who preferred interpreting words rather than pictures entered the shadowy underground world of Codenames. Spymasters Ben and Vinh faced off first, tasked with issuing cryptic clues to their agents to enable them to guess the correct words. Vinh's agents Jules and Thais made short work of the opposition in this opening round of what turned out to be a long series of games.

Finally, those left standing polished off their six-shooters and mounted up for a chaotic game of Colt Express. Cowboys Ed, Ben, Piotr, Mike, Phelim and Richard ran, punched, stole and shot their way down a high-speed train dodging blows, bullets and one angry sheriff in an attempt to make off with the most loot. After the hilarious hijinx-filled heist was over, and the money was totaled up, Ed Moss was confirmed the happy victor.

There were unconfirmed reports of Ben, Ed and Piotr continuing to play Liar's Dice late into the evening.
