Announcing better client communications with SMS
As you know we’re always keen to hear your feedback on BookingBug so we can continue to develop the platform and ensure we are providing you with the best possible booking system out there. Over the past couple of months we have been working on ways we can help you improve your communication with your clients – to make their booking journey easier, reduce your admin and keep your clients coming back time after time.
To that end, we’re really pleased to announce we have integrated with Twilio, specialists in advanced pay-as-you-go telecoms technology. This means that from today you can register your business for its very own dedicated SMS number so that your clients will always know that updates and reminders are coming from you. You can also enable replies so your clients can respond directly back to you with questions or queries they have. You’ll be informed of all responses by email notification and can then choose to reply by phone, email or text.
This feature will also allow you to send marketing SMS to ALL of the clients on your database directly from your BookingBug account. If you’d like to learn more about using bulk SMS, please contact our support team.
In short, we’re making it a whole lot easier for you to contact your clients and for them to reach you directly when they’re on the move, making your business as accessible and frictionless as possible.
